Tech For Good - EECOMOBILITY

It’s client love time, where we highlight one of our incredible clients: what they do, why we’re excited to partner with them, the good they’re putting into the world, and what we're working on together!

Where?

EECOMOBILITY is headquartered in Hamilton, Ontario. They have academic roots and were spun out of McMaster University’s Centre for Mechatronics and Hybrid Technology.

What Do They Do?

As the global demand for EVs increases, there is also a need for safety with more effective and reliable battery testing. EECOMOBILITY’s technology is leading the paradigm shift happening in how these batteries can be tested.

They’ve developed a cutting edge AI platform to apply their testing and monitoring software at scale tailored to the energy storage (batteries), automotive, industrial, and manufacturing markets. Their flagship product, EECOPower, is capable of detecting faulty battery cells in the production process to avoid the risk of fires or performance issues.

Our Partnership Origin Story

In November 2024, they raised a seed round led by RiSC Capital with participation by Automotive Ventures, Emerson Ventures and a North American Original Equipment Manufacturer. Soon after, we were connected to the CEO/Founder, Dr. Saeid Habibi, through their investors to discuss their growth plans for their next stage, starting with the addition of a President to help drive commercialization.

What We're Working On!

With a passionate founding team & mission-aligned investors, EECOMOBILITY is disrupting the market and we’re looking for a President to help them continue to scale. Partnering closely with their visionary CEO/Founder, Dr. Saeid Habibi, the President will own the development and execution of the company’s vision and strategic goals.

This role is pivotal in positioning the company for its next stage of growth. Leading GTM and fundraising efforts will be two key priorities for this leader to help to continue to build the company’s market presence.

Our ideal candidate has experience in a startup environment, a proven track record in leading early stage commercialization, strong leadership and management skills, financial expertise, and is an excellent collaborator. An in-depth understanding of the automotive industry (working with OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers) is an asset.

We’re open to candidates in Ontario, but also remote candidates across Canada and the US. If this sounds like you or someone you know, Leigh@artemiscanada.com & Alex@artemiscanada.com would enjoy hearing from you!
