How Will I Make An Impact?
As Skygauge's VP Sales, you will be instrumental in driving the company’s growth and market presence during a key transition—from founder-led sales to a more structured, scalable sales organization. You will play a critical role in shaping the sales strategy, building out processes as they move toward a high-growth phase. Your leadership will be essential in driving revenue, penetrating new markets, and creating a foundation for long-term success. Your impact will be felt through:
- Refining and Adapting Sales Strategy: Defining Skygauge’s go-to-market motion, focusing on identifying the right customer segments, pricing models, and sales structures to ensure sustained revenue growth. You'll balance hardware sales with evolving service offerings to meet market demand.
- Expanding into New Markets: Spearheading efforts to penetrate international markets, particularly in the EU, Asia, and GCC Region. Your work will directly influence the company’s ability to scale globally.
- Fostering Long-Term Customer Relationships: Establishing and nurturing key relationships in sectors like oil & gas and chemical production, ensuring long-term success through high-value deals and ongoing customer satisfaction.
- Building and Optimizing Sales Processes: Leading the development and refinement of sales motions, including both inbound and outbound efforts, to maximize lead generation, conversion, and sales performance across the organization. This will also include channel partner development.
- Collaborating on Product Development: Working closely with the product team to translate customer feedback into actionable insights, helping refine product offerings and ensuring they align with market needs.
- Leading and Coaching the Sales Team: Taking ownership of team development and ensuring that your sales team has the tools and strategies needed to succeed and meet ambitious goals.
- Tracking and Achieving Sales Goals: Establishing clear KPIs and performance metrics to track progress, aligning sales efforts with company revenue targets, and reporting results to leadership. You’ll ensure that Skygauge’s sales team is always focused on hitting and exceeding key milestones.

Our Ideal Candidate Looks Like:
We’re looking for a driven, results-oriented leader who can balance the role of player and coach. You will need to demonstrate a deep understanding of both direct and channel sales and have the leadership skills to motivate and guide a growing team.
- You have a proven sales background, ideally in industrial, high-tech, or drone-related industries.
- You’re experienced in selling into international markets (EU, Asia, GCC), with a focus on large-scale, high-value deals.
- You’ve worked with technical products, particularly in industrial inspection.
- You’re a strategic thinker, able to develop and adapt sales strategies to meet the demands of a dynamic market.
- You lead by example, actively engaging in direct sales while coaching and mentoring your team.
- You have experience managing both hardware and service sales, with a focus on refining and optimizing sales models.
