What Do They Do?

FlipGive is revolutionizing grassroots fundraising in sports! Their free shop app helps parents and athletes earn cash back on everyday shopping to reduce player fees and team expenses. The high cost of sports is a huge barrier to entry, and to date, FlipGive has given back over $50 million dollars to teams and families across North America. As a certified B-Corporation, they’ve taken your typical loyalty rewards app model and created a platform that drives significant social change.

Our Partnership Origin Story

We were introduced to FlipGive’s CEO, Amy Halpenny, by Amrita Gurney, our client at Float. We were working with Amrita on a niche, enterprise-focused growth marketing search. Amrita learned Amy was also looking for an early-stage growth marketing leader, so she made the connection. Both companies needed growth stage experience, but FlipGive needed a strong B2C leader.

B2C marketing leaders with experience massively scaling up growth channels are harder to find in Canada, where B2B companies are more common. Top it off with needing early-stage startup experience and the pool of potential candidates gets even smaller! With our background placing B2C leaders and our knowledge of the market we knew we’d find a great fit for FlipGive. Plus, their mission is one we can get behind, and we know leaders in our network will feel the same!

What We're Working On!

We’re looking for a Director of Growth Marketing to join the FlipGive team! Reporting directly to the CEO, you’ll own all of acquisition - growing their culture of experimentation and data inspection across the entire top of funnel.

Our ideal candidate has experience in growth marketing with a post-Series A high-growth B2C or B2B2C startup, a strong analytics background, experience managing multi-channel mix, and the ability to bounce between thinking strategically to executing on tactical initiatives.

We’re open to candidates anywhere in Canada for this fully remote role.
