By automating the complexities of payroll, Wagepoint is helping businesses streamline operations, maintain compliance, and save countless hours spent on payroll management, allowing business owners to focus more on the heart of their business operations.

How Will I Make An Impact?

Reporting to the Chief Product Officer, you will be instrumental in shaping and executing the product vision and strategy at Wagepoint. You'll lead the development and implementation of processes that enhance collaboration between Engineering and Product teams, while also managing multiple products to meet customer needs and business objectives. Your experience with design ownership and a data-driven approach will ensure that products not only function well but also deliver exceptional user experiences. You will create an environment where a high-performing team can thrive, fostering innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement. You will strategically gather and integrate customer feedback into the product roadmap, using tools like Jira to streamline workflows and keep customers informed of how their input shapes future developments.

How Do I Know If This Is For Me?

  • You have a proven track record of defining and executing multi-product roadmaps in a scaling SaaS environment

  • You’re experienced in creating and refining playbooks that level up team capabilities.

  • You have a design-oriented mindset and have owned product design in previous roles.

  • You thrive on building strong processes for collaboration between Engineering and Product teams.

  • You’ve managed multiple products and are adept at balancing various customer needs and business objectives.

  • You’re highly data-focused, using metrics to drive adoption and engagement.

  • You excel at gathering and integrating customer feedback in a strategic way, and you’re an expert with tools like Jira and Atlassian Suite to streamline this process.

The Ideal Candidate:​

  • Proven Leadership: Strong background in leading product teams, with a focus on roadmap development, process optimization, and driving success in a B2SMB SaaS environment.

  • Design Experience: Experience in design ownership, ensuring products deliver not just functionality but also an exceptional user experience.

  • Process Optimization: Skilled in implementing process improvements and utilizing Atlassian suite of tools (ex. Jira) and Heap for more productive workflows.

  • Customer-Centric: Adept at gathering and routing customer feedback strategically, feeding it into the roadmap, and communicating it back to customers.

  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Strong focus on metrics, with the ability to use data to drive product adoption and customer satisfaction.

  • Strategic Execution: Experience developing and executing strategic plans, with a focus on delivering daily value, quick wins, and maintaining high product quality.
