How do I know this is for me?

 

Reporting to the Chief Technology Officer, we are looking for a truly transformational technology leader here in North America, driving forward our technology solutions of the future. Alcumus is changing the status quo of health and safety solutions, and we are looking for the best leader to join us to help make this a reality.

 

This individual will be a leader first and foremost. Our team’s wellbeing, success and engagement are fundamental to everything we do. In addition to that, as a Senior Executive, you will be closely involved and influential in the development and setting of Alcumus Market and Strategic Directions and Strategies.

 

How will I make an impact?

 

Within your first week, you should expect to:

  • Enjoy a complete induction program to get to know the business and how we do things, providing you with an excellent foundation to build on.

  • Meet the teams across the UK and North America, our CTO and Senior Leaders who will give you a good overview of their roles and how they add value.

  • Start forming your views on the priorities, how you can transform the team to deliver high-quality solutions, what the journey will look like and how you can work with your peers to achieve this.

 

Within your first few months you, will:

  • Find your rhythm as a leader, make sure the team moves in the right direction, and achieve their best.

  • Know how to get the best out of people and deliver actual results, representing tech at Board and Executive meetings.

  • Making inroads to becoming “One Alcumus,” ensuring we have the proper framework and forums in place to work collaboratively, achieving sound results.

  • Get to know the broader stakeholders and C-level team, understanding what the expectations are for your function and promote a seamless relationship.

 

A year down the line:

  • Looking back, you will have done a fantastic job leading our teams who are engaged, motivated and clear on what good looks like.

  • You will have clearly defined and delivered the strategic objectives, had a real impact and be focused on the future.

  • You will have attended our annual conference, get to know the wider business and share in the company’s successes.

  • We are looking for someone who, above all, demonstrates our core values through their leadership. In addition, we are looking for the following:

  • A transformational leader who can develop and deliver the group’s engineering strategy.

  • Demonstrable experience setting out a framework to manage organizational development, talent management, and influence at C level.

  • Promote best practice software development standards, evaluating existing technology architecture and the adoption of new development methods.

  • Promote an Agile way of working, adopting a continuous delivery process.

  • Experience working within a cutting-edge software environment focused on building new and innovative solutions.

  • Champion collaboration between product and other departments, always seeing the bigger picture.

  • Excellent commercial awareness, with the ability to think strategically and operate tactically.

  • You will have the ambition and appetite to progress your career and make a difference.

  • You will also have experience managing geographically diverse teams.
