This start-up has built a small and strong team, and is looking to scale their product, as their global customer base expands. They have developed a product that will change the lives and economic outcomes for thousands of individuals, in communities around the world.

How Will I Make An Impact?

Reporting to the CEO, your role is critical in ensuring that they can deliver on product initiatives while partnering with the business and scaling the Engineering team & processes. 


The addressable market is growing and the company has the foundation for a product that will scale as their user-base grows. With a strong Product Designer and Head of Product, they have a solid product roadmap and clarity around what customers and users need. Now they’re ready for a Head of Engineering to join the leadership team and own all of Engineering - infrastructure, backend, architecture, you name it. You’ll lead and grow these teams, making key decisions around people and process.

You’ll lead a team of 10 to start, and will determine how to structure and scale the Engineering organization. You’ll be a key member of the executive team and will be part of all strategic business decisions. If you’re looking for a role with growth potential, this is the opportunity for you!

Our Ideal Candidate Looks Like:

To succeed in (and enjoy!) this role:

​

  • You’ve successfully scaled an early-stage enterprise B2B SaaS startup engineering organization.

  • You are a cross-functional leader. You get excited about partnering with senior leaders across the org to drive company success.

  • You have worked with solutions that leverage data, as you’ll work closely with the data team 

  • You’re passionate about your work and have a bias for action

Bonus points if:

  • You view engineering through a holistic lens, knowing that growth can come from many places: More hiring, automation, off-shore teams, optimization, etc

The Process:

  • Meeting with the CEO

  • Technical Debrief + Deep Dive

  • Panel interview with CEO and 2 other leadership team members
